This special weekend event will highlight the wide spectrum of teachings of Sri_T_Krishnamacharya. Sri_T_Krishnamacharya believed that rather than adapting oneself to yoga, yoga had to be tailor made to suit individual needs and abilities at any given moment. This is why he chose a number of tools from yoga and offered them to help his students.

This event, led by Sri_TKV_Desikachar and Kausthub Desikachar along with a team of teachers who study with them will showcase sixty different classes. Participants will choose ten classes from six concurrent sessions that will go on over the weekend. None of the classes offered at anytime will be the same. Classes will vary in size and experience, and participants may have the chance to choose large classes with robust practices, or small sized sessions with intense themes. This is the greatness of Sri_T_Krishnamacharya teaching - truly a rainbow of yoga.

As part of this event participants will also be able to choose an optional intensive to be held on 14 ^th November 2003 between 15.00 and 18.00 hours. Titled "The Yoga of Krishnamacharya ",this half-day event will be taught by Sri TKV Desikachar with assistance from Kausthub Desikachar. This session will elaborate on the fundamentals of the yoga principles that T Krishnamacharya emphasized.

Sri Pattabhi Jois will inaugurate the event, "The Rainbow of Yoga" on 14^th November at 7:15 pm. Sri_TKV_Desikachar will also give a key note address during the inaugural.

The timetable and list of classes are listed and participants must pre-register for the sessions when registering for the event itself. Since class sizes will vary, some classes may fill up more quickly than others. Hence you are requested to provide up to three choices for each session after carefully reading the class descriptions. Participants will be sent a list of their definite sessions along with their registration during the actual event.

Please Note:
When registering for the weekend event, please make sure you have indicated your choice of three preferences for classes from each session. Indicate your choice using the reference number marked before the class description. For example X.1 indicates that you are choosing "Raksana Krama" in the tenth session. Pre-registration for classes is necessary for this event.

We will surely try to accommodate one among your choices. In case, classes that you have requested are already full, you will be allotted a different class. You will know your finalized sessions when we send you the registration confirmation for the workshop. Please make sure you attend only the session that you have been allotted. Classroom sizes are limited and we will be unable to make any transfers during the event.

Since we expect this limited event to sell out early, we urge you to register early.
